My husband, 2 yo and were on a Mediterranean cruise and after our stop in Naples we took a ferry to Sorrento. Upon arriving at the city center we were met by lots of congestion and traffic and actually a very rude restauranteur who refused to serve us pizza in her 'formal' side which was right next to the pizza section of her restaurant.
In any event, we decided to walk a bit further and stumbled upon this cute place. The owner is an awesome guy with a great personality who welcomed us and made us feel comfortable, even played with our son and got his pizza ready quickly so he would stop fussing.
Now the food: One of THE Most delicious meals I've had in Italy and I've traveled quite a bit. From the Caprese salad to the Bruschetta, to the pizza, spaghetti and meatball and the steak, we couldn't be happier. Brand new restaurant, literally a little diamond in the heart of Sorrento!!! Fresh pasta amazing sandwiches, vegetarian menu available.
But If you want to try the best local meat you need to pop in!! -

Small and new...but food (we had paninis) was excellent. The owner served us. Very nice and took great care of us. Would go again!
